I appreciate your honesty bro. Most ex drivers are putting out negative videos about their experiences with JB Hunt but leave out the positive ones. I'll be starting next week the 16th running local Intermodal at the San Bernardino yard and I'm looking forward to it. I've seen plenty of positive videos vs negative so I'm going to take my chances. I'm also fairly new to the game so thanks again.

Came to learn to wear a shemagh, stayed for the trucking. My dad started driving dump truck for the county road dept. the day after turning 16, during the war. Got a Teamster job at 18, retired at 62 from the same company, no accidents. I drove a little while, rolled and got trapped in a cabover hot oil tanker, as a passenger and lost my taste for it. 👍 Always loved trucking...

Great video..a friend from high school works for ABF..right here in Stratford Connecticut..he told me some of the trucks they have are electric..he got in right after high school his brother retired..great job and benefits..he’s 53 and has 36 years..crazy..keep up the good work..good luck to you.,I enjoy watching

@@MrByTheMile that’s awesome I’ve been looking for opening with ABF in my area but that haven’t been hiring in a long time :/ I work for cardinal logistics we got bought by Ryder this year they are bringing in driver facing cameras soon and have made our lives hell working here.

I worked hard to get into there. I got rejected twice. I still will do whatever it takes when the next opportunity comes up again in the future but if I keep getting rejected, then I gotta spur taste in my mouth for ABF. Its not easy to get in there.

Aye brother i just found out about ABF. Do you happen to know how much money forklift drivers make? Like starting pay?
30.93 an hour is what they are at. With a .75 increase every year until 2028 for this contract. Folks need to wait for an opening for this position. ABF is going back to not hiring much again.
